HireArt is helping our client find Software Engineers to design and develop AI-powered systems and applications that leverage large language models and modern machine learning frameworks.

In this role, you’ll build and deploy intelligent systems such as AI agents, conversational interfaces, and retrieval-augmented applications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability in production environments.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Python-based AI/ML development, a solid understanding of modern AI architectures, and a passion for building intelligent systems that solve real-world problems.

As a Software Engineer, you'll:
  • Design and develop AI agents and autonomous systems capable of complex task execution and decision-making.
  • Build conversational AI solutions, including chatbots and voice-based customer service systems.
  • Develop AI-powered integrations across applications, platforms, and services.
  • Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems to improve AI application performance.
  • Implement and optimize machine learning models using PyTorch.
  • Evaluate and deploy large language models based on application needs, balancing accuracy, latency, cost, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
  • Architect and maintain production-grade AI systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in AI/ML development, including:Python development for AI or machine learning applicationsIntegrating AI capabilities into production software systemsWorking with PyTorch (or the ability to learn)
  • Understanding of AI agents and their application to real-world problems
  • Hands-on experience or strong interest in building chatbots and/or voice-based conversational systems
  • Knowledge of RAG system components: vector databases, embeddings, retrieval strategies, and prompt engineering
  • Familiarity with major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, etc.) and understanding of their trade-offs in terms of performance, cost, latency, and capabilities
  • Understanding of transformer neural network architecture and attention mechanisms

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Kotlin programming
  • Full-stack development experience across backend and frontend technologies
  • Experience with cloud-native software development and microservices architectures
  • Experience working with REST APIs, gRPC, or Kafka for service communication and event-driven systems
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for AI deployment
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience using AI development frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
