Responsibilities - Team Management: Supervision and development of 4 employees (covering financial accounting and accounts payable). - Financial Statements: Production of monthly and annual financial statements for 6 legal entities and group consolidation. - Compliance & Payroll: Oversight of the full accounting cycle, tax law compliance, and ensuring the integrity of payroll production. - System Optimization: Modernization of financial processes and maximizing the use of the ERP (SAP Business One). - Partnership: Management of the budgeting process and maintaining relations with auditors and financial institutions.
Qualifications - Education & Designation: University degree in Accounting and/or a CPA designation. - Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting. - Leadership: Minimum of 3 years of management experience. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP is considered a strong asset. - Bilingualism: Full bilingualism (French and English, oral and written) is required to support stakeholders across different regions.
* Language Requirement Clause: "As the company conducts a significant portion of its business outside of Quebec, the incumbent will be required to communicate regularly with English-speaking stakeholders. Consequently, proficiency in English (both oral and written) is an essential requirement."
