The Electrician is mainly responsible for Plant Services. inspection and repair work on all facilities and systems within the scope of work defined by the Facility Maintenance services Agreement ("FMSA"), as and when required, directed or assigned, consistent with his or her skills, abilities and training.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance

• Installs, tests, troubleshoots, repair, services and maintains a wide variety of electronic / electrical systems and related components, including but not limited to, fire safety systems, closed circuit television (CCTV) systems, access control systems, security systems and appliances and equipment
• Performs work in accordance to established processes and practices.
• Complies with all internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, fire protection.
• Performs regular facility and facility non-technical component monitoring and inspection.
• Provides observations about facility, grounds and non-technical component conditions and deficiencies, and provides suggestions for enhancements and repair.
• Responds to service requests and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Operates facility mechanical, electrical and other systems.
• Manages work order life cycle progressing the work form dispatched through to completion and records resolution data within service maintenance management database. Ensures work completed meets quality, contract response and all other requirements.
• Assists in the implementation of preventative maintenance (PM) program. Ensures that deficiencies are identified, recorded and escalated, and that related documents are maintained.

This is a temporary contract, full-time position with a salary of $40.44 per hour.
