What You’ll Be Doing: Reporting to the Regional Manager, Building Services, the Facilities & Asset Management Coordinator provides field-based project coordination and facilities support. This role supports the planning and delivery of strategic renovations, capital projects, suite renewal programs, and day-to-day building operations while working closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
The Facilities & Asset Management Coordinator provides key support in the maintenance of properties in a safe, comfortable and well-maintained condition while minimizing disruption to residents and team members.
Facilities Operations & Support
- Support the Environmental Services team by coordinating maintenance activities, prioritizing operational requirements, and ensuring facilities remain safe, clean, and fully functional to support daily operations.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers by scheduling work, managing service requests, monitoring work order completion, and ensuring maintenance activities meet organizational standards and timelines.
- Assist in the planning and administration of preventative maintenance programs, inspections and the implementation of policies and procedures that promote regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Support the resolution of building system issues, responding to operational concerns in a timely manner, and minimizing disruptions to staff, residents, and day-to-day facility operations.
- Promote the standardized building maintenance and project delivery practices across the region.
Capital Projects & Strategic Renovations
- Support the planning, coordination and execution of strategic renovations, capital projects and suite renewal programs.
- Assist with project documentation, procurement, scheduling and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project reports and support project close-out activities.
- Support occupied construction planning with a focus on resident safety and operational continuity.
Administrative Support
- Assist with RFQs. scopes of work, operational plans and project administration.
- Coordinate communication between key stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Consultants and Contractors.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs and milestones to ensure projects remain on track and within scope.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, work orders, contracts and compliance records.
- Prepare and provide regular project status updates to Building Services leadership, highlighting progress, risks, budget performance and key milestones.
Who you are:
- Post Secondary education in Facilities Management, Construction, Engineering Technology, Business Administrations, Project Management or a related field.
- 1-3 years experience in project coordination, facilities maintenance, construction or property operations
- Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire/life safety systems an asset.

- Work Model: This role is a regional role in nature supporting 8 of our homes in Lower Mainland BC. Travel to the sites is required 4x a week with 1x a week being work from home.
- Salary Range: $55,451 - $69,314 **Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity**
