Job descriptionRegistration number (if you are part of a regulated profession) Any supporting documents regarding education / qualifications for this position. Program certificates or diplomas High school / college / university transcripts etc. It is also recommended to provide a cover letter and resume Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant. Two (2) years recent experience working directly in substance use and / or mental health treatment. Knowledge of substance use treatment methodology and community based programming. Knowledge of Mental Health and Substance Use Co-Morbidity. Good interpersonal skills. Experience working within a community setting with adults with a mental illness and substance use concerns. Knowledge of importance of relationship building, harm reduction, psychological rehabilitation, motivational and activation techniques. Computer skills. Good written and verbal reporting skills. Good organization, time and general management skills. Class V Driver’s License and own transportation. Current criminal record check. Full understanding of the Community Care Facilities Act.

Under the direct supervision of the Rehabilitation & Recovery Services Team Leader, takes direction from both the Team Leader / Delegate of Rehabilitation & Recovery Services. The role provides clinical nursing care within a recovery model of care. This position works with an inter professional team and assists with the day-to-day delivery of services needed for the ‘recovery model of care’.
Shift Rotation / Hours of work : Days - 08 : 00 to 16 : 30, Rotating

The main industries in Terrace are communications, transportation, and natural resources. The population is approximately 12,700. There are nine elementary schools, four secondary schools, and Northwest Community College and a UNBC campus. Check out where there is always something new to experience.
