Dispatcher
Standard Bus is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in Terrace.
In this key position, you’ll be integral to the day-to-day operations, handling driver communications, scheduling, and routing to ensure efficient service. We’re looking for an industry professional with a strong commitment to customer service and passenger satisfaction. To thrive in this fast-paced role, the ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Shift details : Monday through Friday, worked as a split shift from 7 : 00 am – 10 : 00 am and 2 : 00 pm – 5 : 00 pm
Wage : $26.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Dispatch day-to-day communication regarding fleet units
- Provide tactful and professional phone assistance
- Plan, organize and respond to route, fleet, and operator issues and advise on company safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate the activities of drivers, supervisors, and fleet units using a variety of computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
- Work independently to resolve customer / passenger issues in a professional and friendly manner
- Administrative duties as required (payroll, filing, and reports)
