  • Do you thrive on building strong relationships with mining and industrial clients and leaders as well as your local community?
  • Does the idea of living and working the tight-knit communities of Timmins or Sudbury, where your expertise is truly valued appeal to you?
  • Does working with an experienced team to create high-quality custom solutions for mining and industrial clients using innovative technologies and alternate delivery methods excite you?

If you scored five for five, JLR has a home for you as a Senior Electrical Professional! You’ll be supported by a Platinum Club member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies program, firm that has a long-established reputation for quality services in multiple sectors, while you take on existing clients, develop new relationships, and deliver world-class, innovative solutions that support community building and growth in our cities.

Your Role as a Senior Electrical Professional:

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As a Senior Electrical Professional, your role will include:

  • Designing, internal coordination, project management, and contract administration during construction of industrial/mining type projects, from concept through to completion.
  • Leveraging your specialized electrical experience in industrial infrastructure/processes and/or mining markets.
  • Assisting with the management of workload to ensure that project deadlines are met and final deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Participating in the preparation of proposals and the development of estimates for engineering services.
  • Applying electrical fundamentals, including the application and verification of related software tools.
  • Preparing accurate, clearly written, and well-organized technical reports.
  • Mentoring junior engineers, engineering graduates, and technologists.
  • Working and collaborating with an established, integrated technical team of engineers, technologists and support staff on multidisciplinary projects.
