Job Title: 12-Month Contract - Afternoon Production Assembler

Location: Burnaby, BC

Pay Rate: $21-22/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30PM-12:00AM

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing medical devices as a Production Assembler. This role involves working on a fast-paced assembly line, ensuring the efficient completion of production orders, and operating in both standard and clean room environments. You will be fully trained on various stations, gaining skills in assembling units with small hand tools and following written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to complete production orders on the assembly line.
• Assemble units following written English instructions using small hand tools.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment, maintaining efficiency to prevent bottlenecks.
• Work independently and as part of a team at various stations.
• Perform tasks in a clean room environment, standing for the entire shift, labeling products, and sealing packaging pouches.

Essential Skills

• Eligible to work in Canada for a minimum of 2 years from the date of hire.
• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production line.
• Experience using small hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.
• Comfortable with a 1-year contract.
• Ability to work with small parts and pieces during assembly.
• Capability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 30lbs occasionally.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Soldering experience.
• PCB assembly experience in a regulated environment.
• Ability to read soldering instructions and match numbers to wires.
• Quick learner with high attention to detail.
