Job description

Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors?

Our client is seeking someone to join there team in South West Winnipeg. As a Maintenance Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Your technical expertise and compassionate approach will help enhance the quality of life for seniors, making each day enjoyable and worry-free. If you are ready to contribute your skills to a fulfilling and rewarding workplace, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a property maintenance role with flexibility for evenings, overnights or on call shifts as needed.

Advantages

  • Monday to Friday daytime hours (Flexibility for evenings and on calls in the event of a building emergency is required)
  • Health care benefits including vision and dental care
  • 45,000-$50,000 annually
  • Free on site parking

Responsibilities

  • Completing daily maintenance requests
  • Performing minor building repairs
  • Painting and prepping suites for move ins
  • Monitoring other on site contractors as needed
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a property maintenance position
  • Experience in a senior living community an asset
  • Ability to pass a clear criminal back check upon hiring
  • Physically capable to climb stairs, ladders
  • Physically capable to lift 50lbs as needed
  • Ability to work evenings or on call as needed
