Job description

THE ROLE

Are you a Millwright in the Simcoe area looking for an opportunity to work for an amazing company! Are you comfortable with the maintenance, rebuilding and installation of machinery and equipment? Schedule: 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am rotating every 2 weeks

$41 to $43.40 per hour based on experience

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Install, maintain and trouble shoot automation, robotics and PLC's
  • Receive daily work orders and organize work in order to complete in an expeditious manner, including determining the necessary materials and equipment.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
  • Understand and interpret schematic drawings and symbols, as well as manufacturers manuals and specifications and logic diagrams for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts; lubricate, inspect, clean machine parts as per PM procedures.
  • Selection of proper lifting or hoisting equipment
  • inspecting, aligning and maintaining
  • Have a basic understanding of OHSA regulations on machine safety devices and guarding. Understand and practice safe working procedures. Use personal protective equipment with lockout or isolation procedures as required. Understand the environmental aspects and impacts of maintenance duties and work towards reducing them. Use fall arrest and safe work practices at elevated heights.

REQUIRMENTS

  • Certificate of Qualification – 443A
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of stamping and robotic equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC’s
  • Good hand-eye coordination with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
