Create and program tool paths based on design models Collaborate with design engineers on tool design to enhance tool manufacturability Dismantle and repair or replace mold parts, units or fixtures, fitting and assembling parts and testing repaired tooling for proper operation Fit and assemble new tools Setup machine tools, program and setup numerically controlled machines Setup, operate, program and maintain various machining equipment to manufacture tooling and parts to close tolerances and to a high degree of precision What You Bring: Must have experience with programming and set up CNC milling centres Able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and superior fabrication skills Able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills, identify practical solutions and provide clear recommendations.
Able to work with CAM software (preferably MasterCam) Able to work from mechanical drawings, conduct regular preventative maintenance on machine shop tools and equipment Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills We thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
