Location: Oshawa, ON (hybrid 3 days remote)
Structure: Contract 12 months to start
Pay: $88.00 - $96.00 p/h inc. + HST

Deliverables

Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes, container orchestration, and platform-as-a-service components across scalable environments.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code modules and automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration using DevOps and GitOps practices.
Build secure, resilient, and highly available cloud environments, incorporating software-defined networking, service mesh, and hardened security controls.
Monitor, optimize, and maintain performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance and governance standards are met.

Experience Required

Proven experience designing and managing cloud-native infrastructure using platforms provided by Microsoft, with strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi and automation using DevOps tools.
Experience with service mesh and networking technologies such as Istio and Envoy, along with secure infrastructure practices (RBAC, secrets management, encryption).
Strong understanding of GitOps concepts and tools such as Argo CD or Flux, and experience with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps or GitHub.
Programming experience in languages such as .NET, Node.js, or Java, along with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python, and strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
