This is a hands-on role where you will apply your expertise in AWS and cloud technologies to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure using AWS services.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to design cloud solutions that meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency goals.

Deployment & Automation :

Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar to automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure.

  • Develop and manage CI / CD pipelines to automate software deployments in cloud environments.
  • Cloud Management & Monitoring :

Monitor and optimize AWS resources and cloud services for performance, cost, and security.

  • Implement cloud monitoring solutions (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail) to track performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems.
  • Security & Compliance :

Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and patching.
  • Cost Optimization :

Analyze AWS usage and make recommendations for optimizing costs, including resource rightsizing and selecting the most cost-effective AWS services.

  • Utilize AWS cost management tools to track and forecast cloud expenses.
  • Disaster Recovery & Backups :

Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies in the cloud.

  • Ensure high availability and business continuity through multi-region and multi-AZ architectures.
  • Collaboration & Support :

Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, IT, and DevOps to support cloud application development and operations.

  • Provide guidance and support on AWS-related technologies and cloud best practices.
  • Documentation & Reporting :

Maintain detailed technical documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.

  • Provide regular status updates and recommendations to management regarding cloud infrastructure health and performance.
  • Qualifications : Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.

  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, and other core AWS services.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
  • Technical Skills :

Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices.

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and AWS services such as ECS and EKS.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, security groups, and VPNs.
  • Certifications (Preferred) :

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional is a plus.
  • Any other relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills :

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues.

  • Ability to design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
  • Collaboration & Communication Skills :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Ability to present complex cloud solutions to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Preferred) :

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
