NURSING UNIT CLERK CHIPPAWA CREEK at Bella Care Residence Candidates are invited to apply for the above Position to work at our Chippawa Creek at Bella Care Residence, a 160 bed long-term care facility, located in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
- Reporting to the Chippawa Creek Nursing Unit Clerk Supervisor RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and post nursing staff schedules.
Replace staff due to absences, etc.
Answers telephone and place outgoing calls.
Performs clerical work and maintains records as required and performs clerical work as assigned from all Department Managers.
Maintain files / records such as current and / or discharged resident files, in-service attendance records, etc.
Deliver supplies and must be able to lift 15lbs or more.
Adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control.
Communicates pertinent information to staff, residents, visitors, etc.
Participate in facility meetings as assigned.
Attends in-service education programs.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
WHAT YOU BRING Administrative skills, typing and filing.
Computer skills required.
Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
Excellent organization skills, multi-tasking ability, and self-motivation.
Provide a clear Criminal record check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
Business Administration Diploma preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills HOURS OF WORK Must be available to work weekends.
