This role requires strong cross‑functional coordination, disciplined project controls, and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Schedule Control

  • Develop, maintain, and manage an integrated master schedule, including milestone tracking and critical‑path management.
  • Monitor progress against plan, identify schedule risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Cost Management & Forecasting

  • Establish and maintain project cost controls, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Track commitments, actuals, and variances, ensuring clear financial visibility and timely escalation of issues.
  • Support change management activities related to scope, schedule, and cost impacts.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively.
  • Develop mitigation plans and escalate critical risks in alignment with governance requirements.
  • Maintain risk registers and ensure continuous monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality & Safety Management

  • Support and enforce quality and safety programs in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure inspections, audits, and compliance activities are completed as required.
  • Promote a strong safety culture with a goal of zero incidents.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Provide structured communication to internal and external stakeholders through regular status reports, meetings, and project reviews.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, and site teams to ensure alignment.
  • Prepare clear, concise documentation for leadership updates and decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or hydraulics‑related environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing schedules, budgets, and risks on technically complex projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, or similar).
  • Familiarity with industrial hydraulics, mechanical systems, or heavy industrial equipment is a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in working with cross‑functional and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Results‑oriented with a high level of attention to detail.
