Bus Driver - License Upgrade Training Offered
Location : Prince Rupert, BC
PWTransit is expanding our operations in British Columbia and are currently seeking full-time Transit / Airport Shuttle Drivers to join our team. We offer paid training, license upgrade, competitive wages, and a family-oriented team environment. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers on a daily basis and must be committed to providing superior customer service. Commitment, patience, maturity, and initiative are all required qualities.
Position Requirements :
- Valid Class 5 unrestricted driver license (Free Class 2 Paid Training provided).
- Class 1 or 2Q license an asset.
- Driver's abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
- Clear criminal record
- Must be organized, punctual and reliable
- Possess excellent driving skills and habits
- Ability to read maps and navigate
- Ability to communicate effectively
- A good knowledge of the local area is a definite asset
- Willing to work shifts, including split shifts, weekends and statutory holidays as necessary (transit service may operate 7 days per week, 13 hours per day)
