Teamwork, personal excellence, and continued growth are foundational values. Joining this team means stepping into an environment that recognizes achievements, celebrates innovation, and invests in your professional development.

About the Role

As a Personal Lines Sales Insurance Broker, you’ll be responsible for cultivating and managing a book of personal insurance clients, focusing on delivering an outstanding client experience while driving new business opportunities. You’ll play a key role in helping individuals protect what matters most—offering tailored insurance solutions and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, client-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic, professional setting and is passionate about providing thoughtful, customized insurance advice.

What You’ll Do

  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all personal lines needs.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals, with a focus on growth in the Niagara and Hamilton regions.

  • Respond to inquiries from clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.

  • Evaluate client needs, analyze risk exposures, and prepare customized insurance proposals with support from the sales team.

  • Negotiate terms and coverage with carriers to secure the best value for clients.

  • Process applications, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes accurately and efficiently.

  • Track and manage renewals and timelines, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent follow-up.

  • Assist clients through the claims process, advocating on their behalf and ensuring timely resolution.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and files in compliance with industry standards and brokerage policies.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven ability to develop strong client relationships through active listening and problem-solving.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • High attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Tech-savvy and open to learning new software or tools.

  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance (preferred).

  • RIBO license (or eligibility to obtain).

Why Join Our Client

  • Work with one of the most respected independent brokerages in the region.

  • Be part of a supportive and values-driven team.

  • Enjoy opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth.

  • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients while advancing your insurance career.
