Hourly pay range : $40-42

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and technical leadership in the design of systems involving momentum, energy, and mass transport.
• Perform simulations for aero / thermal development, supporting cooling, thermal protection, and climate control development.
• Work closely with Thermal Integration engineers, Engine Systems, HVAC / Interior, Body engineering, and others to communicate simulation results and recommendations.
• Use simulation software such as STAR-CCM+, ANSA, and TAITherm.
• Conduct vehicle-level CFD simulations to support Aero / Thermal Development, including cooling and thermal protection.
• Perform CFD simulations focused on automotive paint processes, especially electrodeposition coating (eCoat).
• Contribute to future vehicle programs focusing on process efficiency and innovation.
• Develop and execute CFD simulations for new programs based on vehicle content and objectives.
• Communicate results and implement design improvements with engineering teams.
• Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Ensure CFD model validity and correlation.
• Make design changes to demonstrate benefits and perform 'what if' studies.
• Engage fully in vehicle development activities and take ownership of simulation tasks.
• Participate in vehicle testing to enhance correlation between physical tests and simulations.
• Collaborate with offshore teams as needed.
