We are currently recruiting a Superintendent to work for a well-known Vancouver-based General Contractor. Thepany undertakes a large amount of repeat business and prides themselves on building architecturally interesting projects as well as nurturing long-term relationships with their clients. Thepany has a solid reputation within the industry and strongly advocates an ‘open book’ approach to projects. Work is undertaken in various sectors, includingmercial, residential and institutional, with projects ranging in value from $10–$100m. Thepany has a very close-knit team environment with many long-term employees.

Your new role

Thepany is looking for a Superintendent to run a $12m cast in place, new build institutional project located in Vancouver that is due to start in theing months. Thepany has a very good reputation with their many repeat clients, Architects and the local trade contractormunity, and thus trades are very motivated to participate in projects. You will be working as part of a high-performing team to make sure the project is a success.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for someone with 5+ years’ Superintendent experience local to the Vancouver market. Ideally, you will be a confidentmunicator with a carpentry background, strong technical knowledge and a track record of successfullypleted projects. The project includes some high-end finishes and consequently good attention to detail is required. We are open to considering people that have new build institutional,mercial or residential project experience. You must have an honest demeanour and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with your trades and clients.

What you'll get in return

You will have the opportunity to work on an attractive, interesting project of note right from the start of construction. In exchange for your hard work andmitment, you will receive apetitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000, vehicle allowance, bonus and benefits scheme.
