We have an opening for an experienced Machine Operator in our Maple Ridge, BC facility. IPS is committed to responsive service and impeccable quality. The candidate for this position will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating various machines to produce high-quality components that meet our rigorous standards.

Reporting to the Machine Shop Lead Hand , the Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficiency and precision in all manufacturing tasks. The individual in this role must adhere to company safety policies and production guidelines while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and on-time delivery.

Specific Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

• Operate CNC and manual machines, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to manufacture components according to specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment for optimal machining.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct routine inspections of parts using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Follow production schedules and prioritize urgent manufacturing requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following 5S and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Report any production issues or concerns to the Lead Hand in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while operating machinery.
