Job Description:

Our client is looking to hire an AP analyst. The company is privately owned and operated with a focus on general contracting, construction and project management.

Duties of the AP Analyst is as follows but not limited to:

• Post vendor bills
• Track vendor bills vs. purchase order or subcontract limits
• Print and distribute paper cheques when required
• Make bank deposits
• Provide relief support for our Admin Assistant (e.g. answering phone, arranging courier pickups, etc.)
• Filing: Scanning incoming mail. Printing and filing documents emailed from remote workers
• Scanning documents as required for audit or year-end purposes
• Additional Duties: The AP Clerk/Bookkeeper may take on other duties depending on skills, experience, and the company’s requirements.

Job Requirements:

Required

• QuickBooks Desktop working experience
• Accounts Payable experience
• Intermediate Excel
• Available to start immediately

Preferred

• Familiarity with job costing
• Familiarity with a purchase order system
• Intermediate skills with other office software such as Word, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
• Small business bookkeeping experience, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment
