Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Barrie, ON within the healthcare services sector. This role is ideal for a CPA-designated finance professional with strong Canadian financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis experience who enjoys supporting senior leadership with meaningful data and strategic insight.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, internal and external reporting, audit support, cash flow management, and decision support across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for senior leadership, funders, and program leaders.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, scenario planning, and forward-looking analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, cash flow management, reconciliations, complex journal entries, and funding-related reporting.
- Coordinate and support year-end audit activities, including preparation and review of required reports and filings.
- Develop, improve, and maintain financial reports, KPIs, and analysis that identify trends, risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and respond to financial inquiries.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $68,400 to $77,700 per year.
- Direct hire permanent opportunity.
