About the role

We are looking for a candidate that has experience with high-speed signals, RF design, flex boards, signal integrity, high-density, low- and high-power signals, EMC/EMI, that can work well independently and in a team environment
The successful candidate will also have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. The chosen candidate will work closely with Hardware, Mechanical and Component Engineers as well as Purchasing and Manufacturing departments.

What you'll do

Design layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) from schematic design for high-speed signals, RF, high-density, low- and high-power signals
Collaborate with mechanical designers, schematic designers, BOM engineers, manufacturing to optimize the design based on technical feedback
Communicate with PCB manufacturers regarding Gerbers files to optimize manufacturability

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of work experience in layout design
Experience with Altium design tools
Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, T1/Tx Ethernet, GMSL, USB is considered an asset
Work well independently and in team environments
Communicate effectively with internal technical and non-technical teams as well as external vendors

The pay range for this role is:
75,000 - 100,000 CAD per year(Mississauga)
