About the Role:

The Sales PT Appliance and Electronics position is designed to engage customers by providing expert guidance and personalized service in the appliance and electronics department. The primary goal is to drive sales growth by understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role requires staying informed about the latest product features, promotions, and industry trends to effectively communicate value to customers. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high customer satisfaction and loyalty through attentive service and follow-up. Ultimately, this position supports the overall success of the retail location by meeting sales targets and fostering a welcoming environment for all customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail sales experience.
  • Basic knowledge of common household appliances and consumer electronics.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of current technology trends and product specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in the appliance and electronics department, identifying their needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and warranty options to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrate product usage and answer customer questions to enhance their understanding and confidence in their purchase.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain product displays and inventory levels to ensure an organized and appealing shopping environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to achieve individual and store sales goals.
  • Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and industry developments to provide current and relevant information.
  • Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally, seeking resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.

In this role, strong communication skills are essential for understanding customer needs and explaining product features clearly and persuasively. Sales skills are applied daily to identify opportunities, overcome objections, and close transactions effectively.
