What you'll be doing:

  • General maintenance, repairs, services, diagnosis, and installation of accessories primarily on Toyota vehicles.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues
  • Execute repair order tasks efficiently and accurately, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards and customer expectation.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify additional safety or service needs, provide accurate recommendations based on assessments and scheduled maintenance intervals.
  • Documentation of all findings, inspection results, and service actions proficiently in compliance with company and manufacturer policies.
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with other team members to ensure a smooth servicing process.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and facility upkeep to support a safe and organized work environment.

What we need from you:

  • Currently Level 2 - Completion of Level 1 apprentice training with the required number of documented hours performing level-appropriate tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs safely.
  • Possess a valid British Columbia driver's license.
  • Willingness to adhere to departmental policies and procedures within the Fixed Operations Department as well as manufacturer requirements.
  • Commitment to providing a consistently high level of customer service.
  • Prior dealership experience is considered an asset.
