We are seeking a detail‑oriented and hardworking Crate Builder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing wooden crates and customized packaging solutions used to safely ship a wide variety of products. You will work closely with production, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure products are protected and packaged to company and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Build wooden crates, boxes, and specialty packaging according to drawings, measurements, and production requirements
- Safely operate carpentry and woodworking tools (saws, nail guns, drills, tape measures, sanders, etc.)
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare products for shipment, including blocking, bracing, and securing materials
- Ensure all crates meet quality, safety, and durability standards
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and material lists
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with loading/unloading materials as required
- Follow all health & safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety
Qualifications
- Previous experience in crate building, carpentry, construction, or a similar hands‑on role preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and confidently
- Strong measurement, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high‑quality workmanship
