Job Summary:

Hands-on carpentry work involving both new construction and renovation projects. The role requires precision, experience with tools and materials, and the ability to follow plans accurately. Ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, meets deadlines, and works safely as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to project requirements
  • Install structures and fixtures, including doors, windows, flooring, and cabinetry
  • Interpret blueprints and layout plans accurately
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely
  • Work independently or with a crew to meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
  • Ensure work aligns with local codes and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in carpentry
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and safety practices
  • Able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Comfortable with tools, measurements, and construction materials
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade certification or vocational training in carpentry
  • Experience in residential or commercial projects
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Reliable transportation and own set of tools
