Maternity Leave Coverage | Part-Time | Potential Extension
Dale Charles Physiotherapy Group is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator /
Admin Assistant to join our team for maternity leave coverage March through October, with the possibility of extension.
As the first point of contact for our clinic, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming patient experience while
supporting smooth, efficient clinic operations. You’ll be joining an experienced administrative team that works well
together, supports one another, and enjoys sharing a laugh—while always maintaining a high level of professionalism
and patient care.
Position Details
• Start Date: March 2026
• Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours per week
• Schedule: Weekdays only
• Flexibility required for holiday and sick coverage
• Wage: $21-23 Based on Experience. Since this role is maternity leave coverage, there is room for increased
compensation for someone with solid experience who can pick up our systems quickly and jump in with
confidence.
What You’ll Do
• Welcome and assist patients in person, by phone, and by email
• Schedule appointments and manage practitioner calendars
• Support ICBC and WorkSafeBC tracking, reporting, and billing
• Maintain and update patient records accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries in a timely, professional manner
• Provide holiday and sick coverage for administrative staff as needed
What We’re Looking For
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Confidence managing patient profiles and appointment scheduling
• Solid understanding of basic office and clerical procedures
• Experience with Jane EMR, online booking, and direct billing preferred
• Experience with WSBC and ICBC claims is an asset
• Enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused team environment
Qualifications
• Medical office experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
