Job description

Payroll & HR Systems Administrator

Salary Range : $60,000 – $65,000 annually

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Systems Administrator to support payroll operations and HR system integrity across multiple Canadian provinces. This role has become available due to an immediate vacancy and requires a professional who can step into a fast-moving environment and manage critical payroll and employee data functions with accuracy and accountability.

The successful candidate will report to the Payroll Manager and work within a small, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and administer payroll for employees in Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta, ensuring accuracy and legislative compliance
  • Maintain and update employee records, including new hire setup, system changes, and data integrity audits
  • Manage benefits enrollment and pension-related administration
  • Prepare payroll, compliance, and workforce reports for internal stakeholders
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and system-related issues
  • Support process improvements related to payroll operations and HRIS data management

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a payroll or HR systems role
  • Proven working experience with ADP payroll systems
  • Strong understanding of multi-provincial payroll legislation and compliance
  • High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid model : 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
  • Preferred location : Barrie, Ontario Alternative work locations available in North York or Brampton
