Job Description : Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations, you will have a passion for people, sales, and profits. You will be involved in creating and developing new concepts.

General Responsibilities

  • Establish, direct and review performance standards in food and beverage preparation and production to ensure effective, controlled and coordinated results (quality, recipe adherence, service, etc.)
  • Remain current on federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations with respect to our industry.
  • Produce approved budget and operate within established guidelines.
  • Deal with all guest comments, whether positive or negative.
  • Develop with our chef’s culinary excellence.
  • Develop with our Bar Managers Handcrafted cocktails.
  • Review and budget for all financial results.
  • Ensures that restaurant GM’s / Managers and business owners have full authority, support and autonomy, and the tools necessary to achieve results.
  • Ensures execution consistently aligns with company guidelines.
  • Identifies market changes and trends driving improvements and efficiencies.
  • Analyze financial impact of marketing and operations initiatives.
  • Strong leadership experience in high volume.
  • Goal driven and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Dedicated to continuous learning.
  • Minimum 3 years of multi-unit restaurant operations of a full-service restaurant chain.
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally with people at all levels, both externally and internally.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen with P&L statements, annual budgets, forecasting, COGS, and labour models.
