Job Description

Join our team in a dynamic outdoor work environment as an Electrician at a large solar field. Your daily responsibilities will include pulling and installing larger cables in open trenches, ensuring correct ground spacing, completing QA / QC documents, hanging and securing junction boxes, and crimping and installing wires directly into panels.

This role requires a commitment to working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Indentured Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician certification
• Minimum 6 months outdoor construction or electrical experience
• Ability to travel to site
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position Airdrie, Alberta.

Work Environment

You will be working at a solar field near Airdrie, AB, which spans over 600 acres and the project size is approximately 125 MW.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, which includes a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute staggered breaks.

All workers are always paired and will be provided with vehicles for transportation to their respective work locations. Facilities such as lunchrooms and bathrooms are available on-site, and water is readily provided.

depending on level of experience, the opportunity pay ranges anywhere from $21 / hr - $42 / hr.
