A / R Clerk & Receptionist Wing’s Food Products
We are seeking an A / R Clerk & Receptionist to join our team, in our Wing’s Edmonton location. Maternity Leave Contract (12 months)

Definition :
The Accounts Receivable / Receptionist is responsible for various tasks in the accounting department and general administration functions of the facility.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Process and release daily orders and report daily production
- Arrange freight as required
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy of payments and postings.
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Follow up aged account receivable
- Generate statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Communicating with vendors on various subjects, including communications related to EFTs
- Answer general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Direct phone inquiries to the appropriate staff member
- Reply to general information requests with the accurate information
- Greet visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner, and assist the visitor’s Wing’s Host employee in the application of the Visitor’s policy
- Sort incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries for distribution
- Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail, and packages
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
- Monitor day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data, processing credit notes and maintain information of all key accounts
- Prepare and maintain OE / AR and customer’s account
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Skills and Education :
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative or entry-level accounting role
- Post-secondary education in business administration or accounting
- Excellent computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to maintain accuracy and speed in data entry
- Strong working knowledge of basic office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills along with demonstrated diplomacy skills
- Strong attention to details
