Highly organized with strong communication and documentation skills. Proven at identifying and implementing process improvements.
Our client is seeking for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join their team on a long-term contract basis in Edmonton, Alberta. This position supports procurement and contract management activities, ensures compliance with organizational standards, and strengthens supplier relationships within the utilities and infrastructure sector.
Responsibilities :
- Draft, review, and administer contracts and procurement documents.
- Analyze supplier responses and support pricing, delivery, and performance negotiations.
- Manage contract amendments and resolve contractual issues.
- Apply appropriate contract language based on risk analysis and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with legal, cybersecurity, insurance, tax, and organizational standards.
- Improve contract templates, procurement processes, and contract administration efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project objectives.
