Richelieu Hardware is currently seeking an Industrial Sales Representative (Costumer Service) for Southern Alberta.

Position Overview :

Under the supervision of the Industrial Sales Manager, the sales administrator will coordinate new and pre-existing marketing mix awareness to our respective business units in efforts to exceed regional sales targets.

Lunch and learns, trade shows, product awareness, cocktail evenings, mailings, and collateral updates will be scheduled by this position.

More specifically, your main tasks will be :

  • Track orders.
  • Review inventory rotation reports.CAL-PJC-CAL (Wood coatings).Top clients.Manage forced allocations. Track forecasts.
  • Maintain back orders.
  • Review contracts-one shots and deviations.
  • Coordinate work plan meetings. Sales Representative budget and sales review.Pre-call planning calendars. High Gear sales activities.

Monitor product, customer targets and closing rates.

  • Look after collaterals (working demo’s brochures and samples).
  • Manage vendor visits.
  • Coordinate CKCA, AWMAC, NKBA, AAA, CSC, and IDA representation.
  • Sales meeting coordination (inside and outside training).
  • Coordinate customer onsite L&L and visits.
  • Manage house accounts.
  • Onboard paperwork for NEW sales representatives (orientation).
  • Planning and running events(shows).
  • Build Selling From Phones script for inside sales.

Requirements :

  • Candidate must be initiative-taking, meticulous and have strong presentation, communication and preparation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments.
  • Good interpersonal communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently when needed.
  • Demonstrate strong time management.
  • Hands on approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work well with all internal personnel, outside clients and vendors.
