Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications :
- Upgrade Oracle Database 19c to 23c multi-tenant for the PeopleSoft HCM application
- Establish and manage the Oracle 19C database environment to support the needs of the PeopleSoft HCM application.
- Design, implement, and manage an Oracle Data Masking and Sub-setting process that will be used for PeopleSoft instance refreshes and replication.
- Provide technical direction to application developers for any database related design
- Support production and development systems to ensure system integrity and optimal performance levels.
- Support critical business operational requirements for current / future database systems, installations, maintenance, optimization, trouble shooting, and back-up and recovery services.
- Support and maintain Oracle Software applications : Enterprise Database 19c, Data Encryption, Data Masking and Sub-setting, Log Shipping and Data Guard.
- Performance tuning, query optimization, and scalable database design.
- Support application database and software activities such as scripting, SQL programming, and participating in software upgrades, capacity management and patching.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting and maintain Oracle Software applications : Enterprise Database 19c, Data Encryption, Data Masking and Sub-setting, Log Shipping and Data Guard
- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and scalable database design
- Experience of providing database services within an Azure off premise cloud environment would be a definite asset
- Knowledge of the Oracle PeopleSoft HCM application or another equivalent HRMS system
- Knowledge of application database and software activities such as scripting, SQL programming, and participating in software upgrades, capacity management and patching
- Knowledge of technical performance and monitoring software to ensure database integrity and performance standards are met
Must Have :

- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and scalable database design
