Our client is a fast-growing investment firm with multi-billion AUM. They are now looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the team.
Position will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectations, optimizing analytical solutions and visualization, as well as ensuring alignment on data initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Support the development and implementation of enterprise ETL standards and the design and development of ETL specifications and mappings.
- Develop and implement data models, transformations, visualizations, and customized dashboards using Power BI to meet business requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring smooth data flow and resolving issues or bottlenecks.
- Review requirements for data sourcing requests and understand feasibility.
- Gather and understand the data necessary to satisfy the end-user business requirements.
- Stakeholder Management and Collaboration.
- Gather, review, and analyze business requirements from various business units.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance or Mathematics / Statistics.
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineer, Data Analyst or BI Analyst positions.
- Expertise with Azure Data Lake, Azure HDInsight, Azure SQL databases, Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics is required.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and report / dashboard design.
- Solid knowledge of SQL for data manipulation, querying, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Excel Power Query and VBA for data processing and automation.
Previous experience in a financial environment, i.e. capital market, asset management, private equity or wealth management.
