Job Summary

We areseeking a Business Development Engineer who has a strong chemicalsbackground to join Refinery to Chemicals (RTC) Division of the LTCBusiness & Project Development Department to set up economicsmodel 3rd party Build Own Operation evaluation model and projectfinancing as well as interface management amongst groups withtechnical execution commercial SMEs.

The Division is primarilyresponsible for RTC Project Development under This Company InKingdom Liquids to Chemicals Program (IK LTC) and drive thedevelopment of project assessment and the delivery of projectrequirements through FEL I FEL II and FEL III (Project life cycle).

Business Development Specialist will be part of the ProjectDevelopment & Technology team reporting to the Manager and workclosely with others.

Responsibilities :

• Align the details and basis / assumptions of theeconomics model.
• Provide the economicsparameters including the Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rateof Return (IRR).
• Ensure internal alignmentamong shareholders and concerned parties regarding economicsparameters.
• Develop the economics for theValueAdd and Capital Efficiency items providing the necessarydetails for the commercial assessment.
• Assessthe Chemical Competitiveness and provide insights on options toimprove the overall economics.
• Establish andassess various market scenarios to support and enhance the projectvalue.
• Define and participate in Case Studydeliverables and identify key optimization initiatives for theoverall facilities scope cost estimates and schedule.
• Track the development of Gate deliverables required forManagement approval and identify areas needing additional supportto meet target dates.
• Interface and interactwith the Government Engagement GHG Abatement and Finance ReadinessWorkstreams as well as the Project Development Group.
• Work with the Government Engagement Workstream todetermine the economic impact on job creation and GDP within theKingdom updating figures in each phase and securing stakeholderalignment.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a Bachelor degreein Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
• Possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in theRefining & Chemicals business with a focus onintegration.
• Have previous experience inProject Engineering Design and Execution.
• Strong background in the Chemicals industry.
• Solid technical expertise.
• Knowledgeand experience in RefineryChemicals integration.
• Experience in steam cracker and associated derivativesincluding process licensor selection and technologyanalysis.
• Understanding of process yields andqualities.
• Familiarity with economics andcapital efficiency.
• Experience in developingthe scope basis for Chemicals facilities.
• Experience in Chemicals capital project developmentparticularly in PreFEED / FEED stages.
• Understanding of molecule optimization and synergyintegration.
• Proficient in execution andcommercial aspects.
• Knowledge of technicalinterface management.
• Background in businessdevelopment.
