The Opportunity

Our client, a trusted and client focused insurance brokerage who have been providing valuable advice to Albertans for decades, is looking for a Commercial Producer to join their team and help maintain and grow their client base to new heights.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

• Build strong and positive relationships with existing client base
• Daily focus on building new client relationships to secure all lines of business
• Respond to requests and queries by providing value-add advice to clients and prospective clients in a timely and professional manner
• Provide accurate quotes to clients and prospective clients in a timely and professional manner
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
• Maintain accounts receivables
• Prepare client documentation
• Compile information for and process applications for new clients
• Review and complete daily abeyances
• Clearly and effectively communicate with insurance companies and negotiate with underwriters

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience working in commercial lines
• CAIB or CIP designation would be an asset
• Level 2 general insurance license
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure
• Previous experience in a leadership role would be an asset
• Clear and concise communication with both internal and external stakeholders
• Detail oriented
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
• Customer service oriented
• Strong networking and relationship building acumen
