WhoYou Are
A Jolera ProjectManager acts as an ambassador on behalf of Jolera, ensuringcustomer satisfaction through the effective, profitable, andconsistent delivery of projects.
Our ProjectManagers plan, organize, schedule, direct, execute, maintain, andtroubleshoot projects, enabling project completion on time, withinbudget, and according to scope.
They also manage relationshipsacross all project phases while serving as its liaison tostakeholders.
WhatYou’llDo
- Translatescope requirements to project plan with appropriate projectdocuments.
- Directand manage project delivery through entire projectlifecycle.
- Ensure thetimeliness and quality of projectdeliverables.
- Proactivelymanage scope, schedule, and budget including all milestones anddeliverables.
- Proactivelyidentify and manage issues and risk, with appropriate escalation asrequired.
- Identify andmanage project dependencies and criticalpath.
- Determine andassess need for additional project resources during projectlifecycle.
- Delegatetasks and responsibilities to appropriatepersonnel.
- Identifyand continually manage stakeholderexpectations.
- Developand deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, andpresentations.
- Effectivelycommunicate with team members and stakeholders withprofessionalism.
- Ensureinternal systems are kept up to date including project status andresourcehours.
- Forecastingprobability of meeting milestonedates.
- Identify andresolve issues and conflicts within the projectteam.
- Coach, mentor,motivate project members, influencing accountability for theirassigned work.
- Build,develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success oftheproject.
- Additionalresponsibilities as assigned bymanager.
Qualifications :
- Universitydegree, college diploma or demonstrable experience in the field ofInformation Technology.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in managing infrastructureprojects including scope, schedule, and budget through entireproject lifecycle
- Current project managementcertification : Project Management Professional (PMP) or Projects inControlled Environments (PRINCE2).
- Minimumintermediate level knowledge using MS Office tools including Excel,Word, PowerPoint, and some form of a project management tool suchas MS Project.
- Experience in distributeddeployment projects including hardware and software implementationsacross multiple buildings, regions, and timezones.
- Experience working in a collaborativeenvironment, preferably for an IT consultingfirm.
- Competent and proficient understanding ofvirtualization and networkingtechnologies.
- Strong ability to translate scopedescribed in a Statement of Work to prioritized project activitiesincluding required skillsets to complete thisscope.
- Adept at conducting research intoproject-related issues and products.
- Must beable to learn, understand, and apply newtechnologies.
- Strong understanding of thestrategic elements of managing projects, always working with anappropriate sense of urgency.
- Experiencemanaging priorities across multiple projects at the sametime.
- Ability to communicate effectively withteam members and clients located globally, with varyingcommunication styles from a broad spectrum ofdisciplines.
- Ability to elicit cooperation froma wide variety of sources at varying levels internally and withinclient’s environment.
- Ability to bring projectsto a successful completion, understanding its politicalsensitivities.
- Can conform to shiftingpriorities, demands and timelines.
- Ability toeffectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressureenvironment is crucial.
