JobDescription : We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Tech Lead Java Developer . This is a permanentposition with a requirement of being onsite 3 days perweek.

RoleandResponsibilities :

• Leadthe Java technical team.
• Designdevelop test and deploy Javabased software applications using theSpring Framework and Spring Batch. Utilize the Spring framework tobuild scalable and highperformanceapplications.
• Create and maintainETL pipelines for data extraction transformation and loading intodatabases.
• Model and designdatabases to support software applications ensuring data integrityand security.
• Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams including product owners business ysts andquality urance specialists to deliver software solutions that meetproject requirements anddeadlines.
• Trouble and debugsoftware issues and provide technical support toclients.

Requirements

PreferredQualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a relatedfield.
• 10 years of experience inJava
• Experience with SpringFramework and Spring Batch.
• Provenexperience as a Java TechnicalLead.
• Strong understanding ofdatabase design principles and experience working with databasessuch as DB2 MSSQL andPostgreSQL.
• Experience with loggingplatforms like Splunk.
• Handsonexperience with Agile software development odologies such as Scrumand Kanban.
• Excellent communicationand collaboration ss in English with a proven ability to workeffectively in a teamenvironment.

DesiredSs :

• Continuousintegration tools (Maven GradleArtifactory).
• Exposure to Azure andcloudbased applicationdevelopment.
• Test automation (CuberSelenium Protractor) Test Driven Development (TDD) or BehaviorDriven Development (BDD)experience.
• Experience with ETLprocesses.

Location :

Mustbe willing to work onsite 3 days per week in downtownMontreal.

Required : - 15+ years of experience in information technology(GCP), with a focus on infrastructure and networking. - 10+ yearsof experience as an infrastructure architect, preferably inmanufacturing environments.

• Demonstrated expertise in interactingwith business sectors at a strategic level (Directors, VPs, andsenior management).
• Ability to occasionally travel to the variousoffices of our client (Canada, US). - Permanent resident orCanadian Citizen - Bilingualism (spoken / written) in French andEnglish.

Education

Bachelorof Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent from atechnical school.
