Our product are available throughout Amazon, national retailers, Dotcom channels and our retail outlets.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for Director of Operations (DTC, Wholesale and retail). The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing our operations, including overseeing end to end fulfilment, inventory management, and customer service.

You will work closely with our China facility to ensure effective supply chain coordination and align production with market demand.

This position requires a strategic thinker who excels at problem-solving, data analysis, and vendor management. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and implementing best practices across our processes.

Principal Responsibilities :

Leadership and Management :

  • Hire, lead and inspire the operations team to exceed performance expectations and align with strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement actionable plans to achieve operational objectives and enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive success and operational improvements.
  • Attend weekly leadership meeting and S&OP meeting

Supply chain, fulfilment and Inventory Management :

  • Direct purchasing activities and inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and manage costs effectively.
  • Ensure high on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance and low inventory aging.
  • Develop and execute strategies to manage inventory effectively and reduce excess stock.
  • Coordinate with our China facility to ensure timely and accurate supply chain management.
  • Manage and optimize the fulfillment process from factory to consumer to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely order processing and delivery.
  • Implement best practices to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Customer Satisfaction (B2C & B2B) :

  • Oversee and refine customer service operations to ensure high satisfaction levels for both B2C and B2B clients.
  • Create and execute strategies to resolve customer issues promptly and uphold high service standards.
  • Monitor customer feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and satisfaction for our brands.

Vendor Management / Evaluation :

  • Oversee vendor relationships, focusing on third-party logistics (3PL) and importation management.
  • Evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to secure favorable terms and strengthen vendor partnerships.

Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years in operations management within the ecommerce, consumer goods, or retail sectors. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;

advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.Skills : Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and data analysis tools.

This position is required to be in the Toronto as this is an onsite position, 5 days in office. Availability for regular calls with team members and partners in Asia.
