Reach Truck Operator - Permanent

Randstad is seeking experienced warehouse workers! We have a fantastic opportunity for an Certified Sit Down and Stand up (Crown) forklift operator to join an established cold storage distribution center in SE Calgary.

This is a permanent position for a day shift from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm, Mon to Fri and with great opportunity for overtime, with a competitive pay of $20 an hour

The candidate be working in a distribution center for a company that offers cold storage space for customers in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the organization of the warehouse space
• Picking and packing orders ready to be shipped
• Shipping and receiving
• Assisting with inventory counts
• Prepare orders
• Prepare CFIA inspections under the supervision of Operations Manager and CFIA Inspectors.

Qualifications

At least 1 years’ experience operating a reach truck is mandatory narrow-aisle double-deep reach forklift, sit-down counter-balance forklift, ride-on electric

jigger.

• You will need at least 1 years’ experience in a distribution warehouse
• Valid forklift certification is a must
• You must be able to lift 30lbs to 50lbs repetitively
• Good communication skills are important
• Comfortable to work in cold storage environment
