Job Title : Procurement Policy & Reporting Specialist (3-month Remote Contract)

Job Description :
We are seeking a Procurement Policy & Reporting Specialist for a 3-month remote contract to start, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with an Open Data quality review and cleanup, conducting a review of reporting procedures / processes, file audit, and other tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct a thorough review of reporting procedures / processes related to procurement.
- Assist with an Open Data quality review and cleanup.
- Perform file audits to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and Treasury Board policies impacting procurement.
- Generate procurement reports for all federal government reporting requirements from SAP.
- Develop and implement procurement reporting and procurement policy frameworks.
- Ensure proactive publication of contracts, including Open Data reporting procedures.
- Complete audit and quality assurance of procurement data and transactions.
- Develop an audit and QA program for procurement data and transactions.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Previous experience in roles such as procurement policy manager preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge and interpretation of legislation, regulations, and Treasury Board policies impacting procurement.
- Experience in the creation of procurement reporting and procurement policy frameworks.
- Familiarity with proactive publication of contracts, including Open Data reporting procedures.
- Proficiency in generating procurement reports for federal government reporting requirements from SAP.
- Experience in completing audit and quality assurance of procurement data and transactions.
- Ability to develop an audit and QA program for procurement data and transactions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
