Underthe supervision of National Manager, User Services Delivery, the IT Team Leadis responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT Department inthe Alberta region.

Monitoring and managing support functions to ensure optimalservice. Maintaining high performance levels for service-related processes.Taking ownership of

escalations,coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communicationwith stakeholders. Ensuring the department is adhering to policies andprocedures set by the organization.

Training, mentoring, and motivating new orexisting team members.

ABOUTTHE ROLE

  • Oversee the day-to dayoperations of the IT department.
  • Analyzing existing systems andmaking recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
  • Communication and adhering toorganizational procedures, policies, and goals.
  • Monitoring queues and being thepoint of escalation to ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Manage frontline operations andsystems according to best practices ensuring all infrastructure is running atoptimal levels.
  • Determining projectrequirements, developing schedules for the team, delegating tasks to ensureprojects are completed to standard.
  • Train and mentor new and existingteam members.
  • Manage department performance bytracking KPI’s, clearly communication expectations, providing continuous feedback,recognition, and conducting performance improvement plans where required.
