Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mississauga, ON, for a Membership Sales Consultant. The Membership Sales Consultant will primarily promote and sell gym memberships, assisting customers with their inquiries and providing them with personalized recommendations based on their fitness goals.
The Membership Sales Consultant will also be responsible for ensuring that customers enjoy a positive experience at Wynn Fitness Clubs and for contributing to the team’s sales performance and goals.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills and experience (required), at least 2 years of sales
- Prior work experience in the fitness industry, customer service, or hospitality sectors (preferred)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends depending on business needs and peak activity periods
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a related college or university degree (preferred)
Sales Support Objectives :
- Solicit and prospect for new members and referrals
- Respond to and qualify incoming web free trial passes as well as phone inquiries
- Provide new customers with an amazing experience and first impression, what we call the Wynn Difference
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up to increase customer interest in our facility and programs
- Achieve monthly sales quota and ancillary sale conversions
- Calls to prospects and lead generation
- Represent Wynn Fitness at Corporate, Outreach and Community Events

Preferred Knowledge and experience ("nice to have") :
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience
- Knowledge of Fitness Industry and ideally previous experience selling fitness memberships
- Calling prospects, presenting value and scheduling appointments
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
- Strong lead generation skills including outbound telemarketing calls, outreach, customer referrals etc. Ability to generate approximately 6 appointments for each work shift.
- Ability to identify customer needs and deliver sales presentation to meet needs and close the sale.
- You are disciplined and self-motivated, and excel in managing your time and priorities.
- Results-oriented, organized, thinks outside of the box, creative ways of selling, presentation and sales training skills.
