Minimum Skills & Qualifications :
- Expert proficiency in React and a strong advocate for guiding the direction of front-end technologies.
- Proficiency with charting libraries and map libraries, specifically Mapbox.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of professional development experience in a SAAS environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working with Engineering, Data, Product, Design, and Business functions.
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with specific direction.
- Effective communication skills with business unit stakeholders of varying technical ability.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Attention to design and usability.
- Excited about working at our Calgary downtown office at least twice a week.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience with Document Databases, preferably MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with backend languages such as .NET, Golang, or Rust.
