Your Role : Learner Experience
Learner Experience
- Facilitate training events (e.g. Manager-In-Training MIT, and Department-Manager-In-Training DMIT) for unique audiences organization-wide
- Deliver training using a variety of methods including in-person, virtual, eLearning, on-the-job / coaching, game-based learning, etc.
- Support the learner / trainee experience including communications, attendance, tracking progress, assessments and overall success.
This is both onsite or remote as required.
- Submit necessary information within learning management systems to support learner experience, program delivery, follow-up, attendance and evaluation as required.
- Collaborate and engage with other subject matter experts (internally and externally) to support training delivery and facilitation as needed.
- Conduct learner / trainee follow-up meetings as required to support, assess, and evaluate knowledge and abilities
Program Delivery and Evaluation
- Collaborate with other learning partners to identify and implement any learning key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Create and present on training program evaluations and summaries to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement
- Maintain training and learning materials to ensure information and processes are up to date and accurate
- Provide insight and recommendations to improve learner experience across all training programs
- Support and collaborate with full People Development team on the design and development of training programs
- Stay up-to-date on current and future learning trends in both approach and technology required to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide input to and some administration of People Development expenses and overall budget.
Desired Skills & Experience :
- Certificate in Adult Education (or similar) an asset
- CPHR Designation / Human Resource Management (or similar) an asset
- Minimum 3 years of related experience delivering training programs
- Experience in facilitation and presentation to broad audiences.
- Experience delivering training using a broad range of methods (in-person, virtual, blended, etc)
- Experience within large, multi-location organizations preferred;
- Experience working with diverse cultures;
- Sensitive to local cultures within a national and international context;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and energetic environment;
- Experience in a retail or service environment strongly preferred;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt methods and communicate effectively with all levels of staff;
- Flexible, with the ability to quickly adapt to change;
- Ability to travel is required;
- Proficient in use of MS Office; and
- French is considered as an asset.
