Our client is a well-recognized distributor / retailer of electronics across North America and they are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing International Business, to lead the development and execution of a global marketing strategy.
This role is pivotal in driving brand visibility, credibility, and customer engagement through strategic planning, digital media, and innovative marketing practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global marketing dynamics, digital advertising, and e-commerce to drive performance and achieve business goals on an international scale.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy to establish and grow the Canadian brand internationally.
- Build and enhance the brand’s visibility and credibility across global markets through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Oversee digital media planning and buying to optimize ad spend and campaign performance across various digital platforms.
- Implement and manage end-to-end digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with global marketing objectives.
- Develop and maintain a global brand presence through effective digital marketing tactics and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the development and optimization of the global website and e-commerce platforms to drive traffic, conversions, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead customer journey mapping efforts to understand and enhance the customer experience from acquisition to retention.
- Plan and execute digital advertising strategies to generate quality leads for the sales team and drive business growth.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance to assess effectiveness and optimize marketing strategies.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on marketing performance and strategic recommendations.
- Manage relationships with social media platforms, agencies, and influencers to drive brand engagement and visibility.
- Oversee influencer marketing programs to leverage partnerships for enhanced brand reach and impact.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search performance and drive traffic to the global website.
- Monitor and enhance organic performance to ensure high visibility and ranking in search engine results.
- Conduct customer surveys to gather feedback and insights, driving improvements in marketing strategies and customer support.
- Implement customer support initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
- Ensure team members are equipped with the skills and resources needed to achieve marketing objectives.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in global marketing, with a proven track record in digital media, ecommerce, and brand management.
- Strong understanding of international marketing strategies, digital advertising, and e-commerce best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end digital campaigns and driving performance metrics.
- Proficiency in SEO strategies, social media management, and influencer marketing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high performing team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
