Scrum Master
Job Description
As a Scrum Master, you are crucial in facilitating and shaping our processes as we continue our agile transformation and adopt a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
You'll lead two teams, facilitating agile ceremonies while fostering collaboration and alignment. Additionally, you will be a key member in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, ART Sync and Scrum of Scrums.
Removing impediments to progress you will enable the team to deliver high-quality work within sprint cycles. As a coach and mentor, you will guide the team in Agile practices and continuous improvement and serve as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and goal alignment.
Strong interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and commitment to Agile values are crucial for success.
What You'll Do :
- Act as Scrum Master for two teams.
- Facilitate team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead the team in preparation and participation in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, ART Sync and Scrum of Scrums.
- Guide the team on using Agile best practices and shape those processes to serve the team.
- Guide teams to the next level of performance and maturity.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, emphasizing problem-solving.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, including refining and maintaining the product backlog.
- Participate in implementing and adopting agile as a member of the Agile Centre of Excellence.
Qualifications
Let's Talk About You :
- Recognized Scrum Master Certification.
- At least five years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA or Rally
- Strong people management and leadership qualities to foster teamwork in cross-functional teams.
- Solid organization skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
