What the job is all about :
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle - requirements gathering, scoping, design, implementation, documentation, testing, and maintenance.
- Estimate development tasks and project effort levels.
- Participating in code design and code reviews.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting solutions as well as provide user support.
Who you are :
- Post secondary degree in Computer Science, or other relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years experience with full stack software development life cycle in an agile environment.
- The ability to explore and integrate different tools and technologies in your applications.
- Experience with following languages and technologies : React Native, React.js, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Jetty, Ajax, Eclipse, OSGi, Struts, and Hibernate, Redux
- Experience with Test Driven Design, Behavior Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Java Design Patters, and principals of Object Oriented design and implementation.
- Knowledge and experience with unit testing and test automation
- You enjoy working collaboratively on projects.
- You take pride in providing high quality innovative solutions.
- You are prepared to tackle challenging work.
- Adaptive to change and always looking for ways to improve.
Bonus points if you have the following :
- Experience with one or more of cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or Google Web Platform.
- Knowledge of professional broadcast equipment in television standards.
- Familiar with Git code revision system.
