Operational RiskManagement Analyst Remote

Ourclient in the insurance and financial services industry is seekinga professional to lead a pivotal operational resiliency initiativewithin the business continuity field.

In this role you will driveessential transition and exit strategies for thirdparty vendorsstrengthen business continuity frameworks and ensure seamlessoperations in a rapidly evolving environment.

This is a uniqueopportunity to shape and advance resiliency efforts within ahighimpactindustry.

Whatis in it foryou :

Salaried : $62 to $66 per hour.

Incorporated Business Rate : $74 to $79 perhour.

6monthcontract.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Weekdayschedule from 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4pm.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement transition and exit plans for criticalthirdparty vendors.

Serve as theprimary contact for vendor reviews and contract coordinationensuring operational resilience ismaintained.

Lead testingprocesses for thirdparty vendor exit and transitionplans.

Collaborate with vendorsand internal teams to secure alternative workspaces and continuityplans for essential processes in the event of primary workspaceinaccessibility.

Support theoperational business risk management framework mapping risk factorsand operational needs regularly.

Engage with Information Risk Management and risk Subject MatterExperts to assess resiliencestrategies.

Conduct resiliencetesting covering key areas like business impact analysis recoveryobjectives and critical pathmapping.

Participate in projectswith IT and business units to integrate business continuity anddisaster recovery requirements into changeprocesses.

Proactively share bestpractices and help standardize resilience processes with a holisticview of information riskmanagement.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

High School diploma required.

35years of experience in Disaster Recovery Business ResilienceInformation Technology / Systems Project Management or VendorManagement in a large complexorganization.

Professionalcertification in Business Continuity Management (BCM) preferred(e.g. ABCP CBCP MBCI or MBCP) or actively working towardcertification.

Familiarity withOSFI regulatory guidelines specifically B10 and E21; experiencewith these regulations is a plus.

Strong computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office withfamiliarity in BCM planning tools or relational databases (e.

g.Fusion Risk Management PowerBI).

Broad knowledge of system technologies and businessresilience / disaster recovery tools andtechniques.

Exceptional oral andwritten communication skills with the ability to conducteducational sessions and present across organizationallevels.

Proven ability to buildrelationships engage stakeholders and influence outcomeseffectively.
