We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join the team. In this role, you’ll support finance with day-to-day accounting tasks, helping ensure accurate financial records and smooth operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their accounting career.
Location: Able to travel to both Milton & Oakville
Pay: $28.85/Hr
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Requirements
– Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience preferred
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel and accounting software
– High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational/time management skills
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
– Professional mindset, ability to maintain confidentiality, and flexibility to travel between Milton & Oakville
Responsibilities
– Perform account reconciliations (bank, credit cards, general ledger) and prepare journal entries
– Support month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, and financial reporting
– Maintain accurate financial records, including data entry and organized filing systems
– Assist with audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
– Handle administrative, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and other accounting-related tasks as needed
